Mark,
Enjoyed reading your blog on humor. Laughter is good medicine for the soul. As I've stated on my blog, I am a very private person, and I admire your courage for sharing your family memories. Thanks, Linda W.

Mark,

I love your blog! How funny! The story of your grandma was hilarious to others, but your
poor grandma! How embarrassing!
A funny story? Hmmm... I'll share one with you. One day I was returning from work with my two children. My daughter is 10 years old and my son is 8. It was Friday and we were ready to start the weekend. We get home and race for the backdoor to head out to lounge by our pool. To our surprise, there is a turtle in our pool swimming away. My dog was barking up a storm! Even more so when we saw we arrived. He wanted to protect us from the evil predator! Well, the turtle was about two feet long and looked as if it weighed a good amount. I headed for the net we have handy to gather leaves and such from the pool and attempted to snatch it. No luck! The turtle circled the net and headed for the shallow part of the pool. My dog took advantage of this and dipped his head attempting to grab it.With this attempt, he too fell into the pool! My children and I could not stop laughing. Now we had to rescue my 80 lbs. chow as well as the turtle. Well, needless to say I also fell in during the resuce! This was truly one of these moments we wished we had a camera filming.
