Floating Log
It was evening and the family came in from playing in the backyard. Being young parents of two girls ages six and one, the girls wanted to take a bath together to play with their tub toys. The oldest girl loves to pretend she is swimming in the tub while the youngest is still trying to figure out what the tub is all about. After a short time of playing, we heard screams beyond belief. It seems as if the youngest daughter felt very comforted with the warm water and expelled a floating log. To the surprise of the oldest daughter, the log was not a candy bar, a Lincoln log, or a plastic toy from their collection. Unknowingly, the log floated beside her head and lodged next to her eye. Now to give you a clearer picture, she was lying on her back in the tub with her head almost under the water. She had her eyes closed until she felt something bumping into her cheek. This is what got her screaming. We took of running when we heard the scream because we felt something happened. When entering the bathroom, the oldest daughter was actually climbing the wall of the tub while the youngest was pushing water like nothing ever happened. How many of you have ever had that happen to you? Let me know through the comment section.
Dancing Dog
One night while watching television, our little eight pound dog began to move and groove like never before. A musical commercial came on TV and at teat very moment the dog came running into the family room. The dog, Sammie, was turning and twisting, jumping like a rabbit, and burfing loudly. Burfing is not barking, but just an almost bark. Sammie made us laugh so much while listening to the music and seeing her dancing that we began crying. When the commercial stopped, Sammie didn't. We told her to stop, but she just couldn't. After a few minutes of her jumping hysterically, I went over to find the problem. Somehow she got a clothespin clipped to her inner rear leg and it was pinching her. She wasn't dancing after all, but burfing in pain. We felt so bad, but still had to laugh.
